Malaysia Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi will remarry to Jeanne Abdulla on June 9, the coming Saturday.
The wedding will take place at the prime minister's official residence, Seri Perdana, Putrajaya, Malaysia's Administrative Capital. The modest fair will only be attended by close relatives for a traditional Malay akad nikah ceremony.
Jeane Abudlla, 53, was born in Kuala Lumpur and is the eldest of four siblings. Jeane is the sister-in-law of Badawi's first wife Edon Mahmood who died of breast cancer at 40 years old two years old. Edon's younger brother divorced Jeane more than 15 years ago. Yhey has two daughters--Nadiah and Nadene.
Jeane, the manager of the Seri Perdana complex, had also served as a supervisor at the Deputy Prime Minister's official residence. Before this, she worked at several famous hotels in Malaysia, including Hotel Hilton Kuala Lumpur and Hotel Pan Pacific.
Badawi's new marriage is blessed many who are from home and abroad.
