The alleged plot against one of the busiest airports in the US is said not to have gone beyond planning stages.
Four people have been arrested in connection with a bomb plot against ground operations at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport.
The four were charged with conspiring to attack the airport by planting explosives to blow up the airport's major jet fuel tanks and pipeline, the US Justice Department said.
One of the suspects had been arrested in New York and the others in a Caribbean country. FBI spokesman Richard Kolko said: "There is no threat to air safety or the public related to this plot." Source: ITN | Picture: Eastpole
