In the previous post, we knew that Apple dropped $200 for its 8G iPhone from $599 to $399 in a rare movement on Wednesday. Today Thursday the company's CEO Steve Jobs apologized and offered the refund of the price difference to those customers who bought an iPhone within 14 days and had the original receipt. For those not eligible for a rebate, Apple will hand out $100 credits for Apple's retail and online stores to them for any future purchase.
