Thierry Henry 
,the 30-year-old FC Barcelona striker, and his English wife Claire Merry , a 27-year-old former model, were divorced after four years of marriage at the High Court's Family Division in central London on September 3, 2007.
Shortly after signing with Barcelona in June, Henry was once quoted saying "Lots of things have changed recently and I had to get away from everything English, including my wife unfortunately. It's a very sad time for all of us, but you've got to know when to move on."
It was expected that his wife Claire (Nicole) Merry and his 2-year-old daughter Tea will get a large portion of Henry's £25 million fortune, which includes a six-bedroom home in Hampstead, which the player bought for almost for £6 million five years ago.
