On the ongoing 3rd China Jilin - Northeast Asia Investment and Trade Expo, Ginger King of Changbai Mountain, a 300-year-old ginger unearthed in Wusong County of Jilin Province earlier this year, was auctioned at a baseline price of RMB10,000,000, or around US$1,300,000, but nobody bid it. For sure, those rich men would like to buy a diamond studded human skull with $100 million rather than to buy a meaningless plant rhizome.
