Steve Jobs Offers $100 Refund For iPhone Price Cut

In the previous post, we knew that Apple dropped $200 for its 8G iPhone from $599 to $399 in a rare movement on Wednesday. Today Thursday the company's CEO Steve Jobs apologized and offered the refund of the price difference to those customers who bought an iPhone within 14 days and had the original receipt. For those not eligible for a rebate, Apple will hand out $100 credits for Apple's retail and online stores to them for any future purchase.

Jim Press, Toyota's Boss in North America, Leaves for Chrysler

Jim Press, President and CEO of Toyota in North America, has left Toyota for Chrysler today, with a position of Vice Chairman in charge of Chrysler's North American Sales, International Sales, Global Marketing and Product Strategy etc. Personally, I believe that the leave of Jim Press, the first non-Japanese man to join Toyota’s board of directors, is believed to more or less affect Toyota's operations in USA and Canada.
