Paul Held
, 69, a retired teacher from Bedford Middle School in Westport of Connecticut, was sentenced to to 10 years in federal prison together with $30,000 fine and a lifetime of supervised release after completing his term.
Paul Held was arrested in August 2005 and found more than 1,000 compact discs in his home by the authorities, each containing up to 4,000 images of child pornography. He, “one of the most prolific collectors of child pornography” ever seen in Connecticut, pleaded guilty last March to one count of receipt of child pornography.
