The video purportedly of Osama bin Laden by al-Qaida's media arm, As-Sahab was surfaced nearly six years after the September 11 attack on the US World Trade Centre in 2001.

LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. -- A former Laurens County teacher pleaded guilty Thursday to having sex with at least five students.

Allenna Williams Ward, 23, a seventh-grade language arts teacher at Bell Middle School, had sex with several students in cars, parks, a hotel and at the school.

She pleaded guilty Thursday [September 6] to six charges -- three second-degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and three lewd acts on a minor. Family members and her attorneys accompanied her as she made an emotional statement to the court.

She said, "Today, I publicly admit my guilt and would like to apologize. I sincerely apologize for the effects of my actions."

The shocking news reports now occupied the prime page of almost every world's major newspapers or news website is that Kate McCann , the mother of Missing Madeleine McCann, was officially named a "arguida" (suspect in English) by the Portuguese police, based on the discovery of bloodstains allegedly found in her and her husband Gerry McCann's rented car.

Police has questioned Kate McCann for 11 hours on Thursday at a police station in Portimao, a town in Portugal's Algarve region, and returned for more questioning this morning. Gerry McCann was due to be questioned this afternoon. The Portugal police is yet to offer some info concerned with the questions.

Kate McCann has been fixed in the public's eye from the first days of the disappearance of her four-year-old daughter Madeleine.

Initially less vocal than her husband Gerry, she often stood silently by his side holding his hand as he addressed the press at the Portuguese resort of Praia da Luz where Madeleine went missing on 3 May. And since then, the 39-year-old doctor was speculated to kill her daughter by the internet community, for which the Mccann's family strongly denied.

With Madeleine McCan still missing and the police investigation in full flow, Kate McCann's time in the spotlight looks to be far from over.

Galareka Harrison, the Suspected Killer of Mia Henderson

Galareka Harrison, the roommate and suspected killer of University of Arizona freshman Mia Henderson has been taken into custody by university police after being released from University Medical Center. She was being booked into Pima County Jail on a charge of first-degree murder.

Mia Henderson, a freshman, member of the Native American First-Year Scholars Program and granddaughter of the former vice chairman of the Navajo Nation died of stabs.

Mia Henderson, a freshman of University of Arizona, died in a fight with her roommate Galareka Harrison who was accused of property theft by Hendeson in the university's Graham-Greenlee Residence Hall this morning. According the campus police Sgt. Eugene Mejia, Mia Henderson died of stab wounds. Currently, police didn't release more detailed information about Mia Henderson, except for saying both women are 18 years old and from Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona. Also don't know if Henderson has a Myspace account or not.  Sigh, one more tragedy hits the American university after Seung-Hui Cho holed Virginia Tech campus in April.

The Dallas music community was left stunned Monday by the fatal shooting of a well-known musician who authorities say beat up his girlfriend and then tried to kick in a neighbor's door in an apparent drunken rage.

Jeffrey Carter Albrecht, 34, died early Monday September 3 after being shot in the head by the neighbor, who thought he was a burglar. Police said the girlfriend had bruises on her face but did not suffer serious injuries. The couple did not have a history of domestic violence, police said.

Mr. Albrecht, who went by his middle name, was a guitarist and keyboardist best known for his work with the Dallas rock band Sorta as well as with Edie Brickell & New Bohemians.

Tony Blair's Neighbours Demand Bomb-proof Windows for Their Homes

Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair 's new neighbours in Connaught Sqaure have demanded bomb-proof glass for their houses to protect them from a terror attack, a daily reported on Sunday.

"We have had a string of incidents in the square. A number of us are very worried about the situation. But, we were told (by police) that if we want shatter-proof glass, we have to pay for it ourselves as the Blairs don't even have it.

"We were told they (the Blairs) only have curtains which have been lined so that they can take the force of the glass should an explosion occur," the 'Daily Mail' quoted a local resident as saying, without revealing his name.

But, a source claimed that the former Prime Minister has been considering having bomb-proof glass and has already put in a planning application to Westminster Council to install new windows and doors.

However, the police have assured the residents that they do not need shatter-proof glass for their windows. Instead, they have been asked to surf MI5's portal to learn tips on protecting themselves from terrorism.

Khaleda Zia:Ex-Bangladesh Prime Minister Arrested

Khaleda Zia, former Prime Minister, the leader of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party, is facing charges of extortion and corruption and has been taken to a court in the centre of Dhaka after being arrested at her home on September 1, 2007. Her younger son, Arafat Rahman Coco, was also arrested, accused of pushing his mother to approve the deal.

Paul Held, A Retired Teacher Downloads 4 Million Child Pornography Pictures

Paul Held, 69, a retired teacher from Bedford Middle School in Westport of Connecticut, was sentenced to to 10 years in federal prison together with $30,000 fine and a lifetime of supervised release after completing his term.

Paul Held was arrested in August 2005 and found more than 1,000 compact discs in his home by the authorities, each containing up to 4,000 images of child pornography. He, “one of the most prolific collectors of child pornography” ever seen in Connecticut, pleaded guilty last March to one count of receipt of child pornography.

On April 16, 2007, Seung Hui Cho, an angry and disturbed student, shot to death 32 students and faculty of Virginia Tech, wounded 17 more, and then killed himself.

Ogletree, maintaining her innocence, refused to accept the prosecutor's plea deal, and by the time the trial rolled around, one student admitted to lying and the other two were discredited.

Michael Vick Pleads Guilty To Dogfighting Charges

NFL Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick officially pled guilty to federal dogfighting charges in a US District Court in Richmond earlier today.

He admitted that he supplied most of the gambling money for fights on his southeastern Virginia property and endorsed the killing of poorly performing dogs.

Michael Vick who has been suspended from Atlanta Falcons will be sentenced on December 10 and could face up to five years in prison, but is hoping for a sentence of around 12 months in exchange for his co-operation.

Piper Roundtree, the Woman Murder of Husband Professor Fredric Jablin

In the early dawn hours of October 30, 2004, Piper Roundtree suffering the depression gunned down her divorced husband Fredric M. Iranian Man Saeed Ghanbari Lashed 80 Times for Alcohol Abuse and Extramarital Sex

25-year old Iranian man Saeed Ghanbari was flogged in public for his convicted alcohol abuse and extramarital sex by a religious court at Qazvin, 90 miles west of the capital Tehran.

The public lashings have been endorsed by the judiciary as a way of deterring alcohol abuse at a time when it is on the increase among young men but some religious leaders are said to be questioning their validity, fearing they have an adverse impact on the country's image abroad.
