It was auctioned off for £9,700,000 million, including commission, on a June auction in London's Sotheby, which enough made Damien Hirst become the auction world's priciest living artist.

Huangjueping Street decorated with graffiti is going to debut on June 9 in the city, becoming the largest graffiti building group in China.
The graffiti decorates the roughly-40, 000-squaremeters of wall surfacing buildings on the 1.25-kilometer-long Huangjueping Street in suburban Chongqing.
It is learned that artists and students from the Sichuan Fine Art Institute have worked alongside workers, comprising a total of 300 contributors, spending nearly one year on the project.

More than 20 Chinese folk artists who specialize in making sugar toys made this sugar-clad dragon using melted sugar. It is 20 meters long and stands three meters high. Jiang Jinghua (蒋劲华), a Chinese artist famous for his unique "torn-paper" arts, went to the Guanyin Mountain National Forest Park in Guangdong Province to gave a "torn-paper caligraphy show" on May 8, 2007. At the show, Jiang tore pieces of paper into different Chinese characters of various fonts and scales according to the requirement of the audiences. Indeed spectacular!A record 18,000 people stripped down and bared it all in Mexico City's Zocalo Square on May 6 for US photographer Spencer Tunick's biggest nude shoot.
In a post-event news conference, the New York based artist who is famous for photographing thousands of naked people in public settings worldwide, said: "What a moment for the Mexican art scene! I think all eyes are looking south from the United Sates to Mexico City to see how a country can be free and treat the naked body as art. Not as pornography or as a crime, but with happiness and caring."
Paintings of Buddha dating back at least to the 12th century have been discovered in a cave in a remote area of Nepal's north-central region.
Researchers made the find after being tipped off by a local sheep herder. They discovered a mural with 55 panels showing the story of Buddha's life.
The mural was uncovered in March, with the team using ice axes to break through a snow path to reach the cave.
The find was in the Mustang area, 250km (160 miles) northwest of Kathmandu.
The work by sculptor Daniel Edwards, who also authored "Presidential Bust of Hillary Rodham Clinton", is to be unveiled in Brooklyn's Williamsburg neighborhood in May. A tiara-wearing, autopsied Paris Hilton with removable innards is designed to warn New York teenagers of the hazards of underage drinking. link
Update: The sculptures is finally seen at the Capla Kesting Fine Art studio in the Brooklyn borough of New York May 9, 2007. And they will be on exhibit to the public May 11 through May 30 at the gallery in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn.
