Mike Byster 
(C.V.), aka Human Calculator, is a math volunteer teacher in Chicago area. He has one of the fastest mathematical minds in the world, and can answer complex math problems in front of his students instantaneously. Mike created a system for solving complex math problems he calls "Mike's Math." The system uses a series of patterns and shortcuts that demystify how numbers work.

Luciano Pavarotti Dies of Pancreatic cancer at Modena Home in Italy
Terri Robson, Pavarotti's manager, announced that Luciao Pavarotti
died at his home in the northern Italian city of Modena. The 71-year-old Italian tenor who was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer had cancer surgery in July 2006 in New York and since then undergone five bouts of chemotherapy.

To somewhat relief, Paul Potts, the Britain Talent, bears the same characteristics of Luciano Pavarotti!

Ohio Republican Paul GillmorDiscovered Dead in Apartment
Same as Rev. D. James Kennedy, Rep. Paul Gillmor (R-Ohio), a 10-term congressman from northwest Ohio, has died of heart attack at the age of 68.
Paul Gillmor was found by staff members who went to his apartment after he failed to show up for work.
Gillmor, who represented Ohio's 5th District in the Bowling Green area of the state, was first elected to Congress in 1988.

D. James Kennedy, 76, Pastor of Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church, Dies of Heart Attack

The Rev. D. James Kennedy
died early Wednesday morning at his home due to complications from cardiac arrest in December. The 76-year-old Kennedy had not been seen publicly since then; his retirement was announced on Aug. 26.
Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church spokesman John Aman said Kennedy died at about 2:15 a.m. at his home in Fort Lauderdale. He had suffered a heart attack in December and announced his retirement last month.
Kennedy took the Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church in Fort Lauderdale from a congregation of 45 in 1959 to a megachurch of nearly 10,000 members today.
He also founded the Center for Christian Statesmanship in Washington, organizing Capitol Hill Bible studies and other events that attracted top government officials and encouraged them "to embrace God's providential purpose for this nation."

Colorado Man Diagnosed Popcorn Worker’s Lung

It was first noted in 2001 in workers at an American plant that manufactured microwavable popcorn. The Colorado man, who reportedly ate two or three bags of microwave extra-butter-flavored popcorn each day for ten years, is the first consumer to develop bronchiolitis obliterans.
Even back then, researchers singled out diacetylEarlier this week, a team of Dutch researchers published a new study in the September issue of the American Journal of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, pointing once again to diacetyl as the chemical ingredient most likely to cause bronchiolitis obliterans.

Scientist J. Craig Venter Decoded Own DNA

Scientist J. Craig Venter, probably knows more about his own biology than any other human being today, because he has published almost all 6 billion letters, or 96 percent, of his own personal genetic code in the journal PLoS Biology. From the mapped genome, he's found genetic proof of links to blindness, alcoholism, lactose intolerance, substance abuse, hypertension, obesity, even the type of earwax and many more illness. Apparently, Mr. Venter wasn't bothered by these negative findings, instead he enjoys his life more than ever.

Jennifer Sutton, the Woman Who Sees Own Heart on Display
Jennifer Sutton, 23, once suffered a life-threatening condition called restrictive cardiomyopathy since her teenage. Thanks to a heart transplant operation June this years, Jennifer's ailing heart was replaced.
Hoping to help increase public awareness about organ donation and the cardiac disease too, Jennifer Sutton, from Ringwood, Hampshire of UK, has lent her original heart to be displayed in the Wellcome Collection in central London. The pictures above shows Jennifer is looking at her old heart.

Kitten Grows Six Ears
A little cat with six ears was recently found at the Russia' Rostov-on-Don city. The kitten is nothing special other than the 4 extra ears which were found no any functions. Veterinarians said the congenital defects of this six-eared kitten may be caused by environmental pollution or gene mutations. Source: QQ
Owen Wilson Discharged From Hospital and Under 24 Hour Monitor
The 38-year-old troubled Hollywood star Owen Wilson committed suicide attempts at the end of August and since then admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angels. Now he has been discharged from the hospital and returned to his Santa Monica home. But in bad mental shape, Owen Wilson has to be watched by family members and friends under 24/7. Buster Martin, UK's Oldest Worker
Great-grandfather Buster Martin just turned to 101 years old on September 1, but that day he didn't take day off while cleaning vans at the Pimlico Plumbers in Lambeth, south London. The following excerpts from BBC is some info summarized for the British oldest employee: The centenarian was born in France, but came to England as a baby and grew up in an orphanage in Cornwall until 1916.
Moving to London he got his first job helping stall holders on Brixton market before joining the Army at 15 and served a total of 35 years before joining the Navy.
After taking up a wide range of trades, he finally went full circle and was working at Brixton market until he retired aged 97.
Mr Martin, who married in 1920 and had 17 children with his wife, said he took up working again because he became bored.
"Working keeps me active, that's the main thing. If you're active it saves you sitting in a wheelchair," he said.
Talking about how the world had changed in 100 years he said: "It's a bit too fast... I've never owned a telephone and I never will."

Baby Yok San's Blackened Forearm Amputated

Baby Lai Yok San was prematurely born at the Tengku Ampuan Rahimah Hospital in Malaysia on July 23, and two weeks later her left arm infected and turned black while in an incubator because of doctors' serious mistakes. Only until September 1, a short operation at the hospital removed the blacked portion. What makes me stunned when I read a report on theStar is that the blackened portion of the arm came off as the doctor lifted the arm and turned it, possible?
Jeshuah Fuller, a New York Babyboy Born With 12 Fingers and 12 Toes
The baby Jeshuah Fuller, was born on August 29th 2007 at Brooklyn Hospital Center of New York. He has six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot. But little Jeshuah Fuller is healthy and weighed over seven pounds (about 3.2 kg). Jeshuah's mom, Quana Morris, said the extra fingers and toes will be surgically removed.
Actually this is not the first time that we post about the kids with multiple fingers and toes. Last August, we already featured a Chinese boy who has 15 fingers and 12 toes. The rare condition, called polydactylism, is usually genetic.

10 Wrestlers Suspended by WWE for Steroids and Drugs Abuse
World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) has suspended 10 of its pro wrestlers for violations of a policy that tests for steroids and other drugs. Nine people, including three current or former physicians, have pleaded guilty, most affiliated with Internet and phone-order companies that filled orders for anabolic steroids and growth hormones through Signature Pharmacy of Orlando in Florida. It has been WWE’s practice not to release the names of those who have been suspended, but notice has been sent to all WWE performers that names of anyone who is suspended under the Wellness Policy as of November 1 will be made public.
Wrester Chris Benoit who killed his wife and 12-year-old son Daniel before hanging himself in June was also a steroid user.

Arthur Miller, Marilyn Monroe's ex-Husband, Hide Son Born with Down's Syndrome for 40 Years
Daniel Miller, born in 1966, the son of Marilyn Monroe's ex husband Arthur Miller and Monroe's The Misfits photographer Inger Morath was born with Down's syndrome, miserably dumped by the famous American playwright father at a mere one-week old to a Connecticut mental institution with poor facilities. Dailymail cited an article on Vanity Fair magazine reporting that Daniel, now 41, did not receive a mention in Miller's memoir, Timebends. and was only finally relented just six weeks by being added to his father's will that he was offered an equal share of the father's estate before Miller died in 2005.
As the scandal was finally surfaced, Arthur Miller's reputation as a champion of the downtrodden and a hero of the Left was debated.
McDonald's Employee Gives Birth in Restroom, And Tries to Flush Baby Down Toilet
Sigh! If she didn't want baby, why not to take the preventive way to get conceived? I don't think that McDonald's need to undertake the sex education for its employees .
Kansas City police are investigating a 20-year-old woman who allegedly tried to flush her newborn son down the toilet at a McDonald's restaurant after giving birth in the restroom.
Both the baby and the mother, a Kansas City resident who works at the McDonald's, were being treated Tuesday at a Kansas City hospital. Police said the child is expected to survive.
"Fortunately, the baby's fine," Capt. Rich Lockhart said. "The baby's at the hospital getting treatment. The mother's at the hospital getting treatment. We're investigating it."
The incident occurred about 12:50 p.m. Monday. Lockhart said workers became concerned after the woman didn't return from the restroom. The workers quickly called paramedics after checking on the woman, and paramedics were able to revive the baby.
