This weird egg was found when staffs in the Jinma Supermarket in Dalian were dealing with those cracked eggs from a batch of 300 cartons of eggs bought from a large poultry farm. Instead the yolk, a small egg which was only half size of the normal one was wrapped inside egg white in the cavity of outer shell. Shell of the small egg was so soft that a dent would immediately appear if a forceps was used to lightly touch it. Egg yolk and white can be seen after the shell was broken."Selling eggs so many years, I saw a lot of eggs with double or even three yolks. But the egg inside egg like this was never seen before. " said Ms. Shao, an assistant manager in the supermarket.
Experts believe that such rare egg probably developed from the double-yolk egg. Link
