Calf Born with Six Legs

Nebaraska Six-legged calfThe black Angus calf with 2 extra hind legs was born on the farm of Brian Slocum of Litchfield, central Nebaraska on April 29. Such calves are rare, usually plagued with internal problemsand don't live long, but so far, the 85-pound calf did quite well on the farm.
The two extra appendages _ one a front leg, the other a back _ extend from the calf's pelvic area. The longer of the two extra legs doesn't quite reach the ground, and they don't interfere with the calf's mobility.

The unnamed calf also has organs for both sexes and a surgically supplied rectum.
