An aerial view of freeway interchange that funnels traffic off the San Francisco-Oakland Bay Bridge collapsed onto another highway ramp between I-80 and I-580 in Oakland, California, after a tanker truck carrying 8,600 gallon gasoline overturned and caught fire. The fireball started on the lower deck, and the rising heat of the 2000+ degree fire melted parts of the deck above, causing it to collapse.
