Hold That Prospect led all the way in the snow Thursday, beating Ocarson by a half length in the $58,860 Mommy Dear Stakes for fillies and mares at Aqueduct.
Jorge Chavez was aboard for trainer Gary Gullo as Hold That Prospect, the 1-2 favorite, won for the fourth time in the last five starts. The 5-year-old ran six furlongs in 1:12.20 over the sloppy, sealed track.
Hold That Prospect paid $3.10, $2.10 and $2.10. Ocarson returned $2.40 and $2.10, and Magic Roberta paid $2.20 to show.
With heavy snow expected to continue, Aqueduct canceled the Friday card.
