Bacn, aka the Middle Class of Email

bacn, spam

Before you know what is Bacn, possibly your email box has already bombarded by it.  Bacn, an intentionally one-vowel-short buzzword from Bacon is a new email term born recently. It was first used during an impromptu discussion (the first video below) of geeks about email and spam during Podcamp Pittsburgh.

Email you receive that isn't spam... And isn't personal mail. It's the middle class of email. It's notifications of a new post to your Facebook wall or a new follower on Twitter. It's the Google alert for your name and the newsletter from your favorite company.

The video below taken by iJustine.tv was the first time that BACN was explained for all of the internet audience.
