Eulogy of Yellow River (黄河颂), an oil painting by the late famous Chinese painter Chen Yifei, was auctioned at a record-breaking 40.32 million yuan (US$527m) for Chinese oil paintings in Beijing's Kerry Center on May 13, 2007.The 297 by 143.5 centimeter work produced in 1972 when Chen was 25 years old depicts a Red Army soldier stands on the mountain top overlooking the Yellow River.
