Grandfather Wang Jianbang, 87, from Zhengzhou, capital of Henan Province, has become the oldest person in China to enroll a law school.Mr. Wang decided to take up law after his lawyer confused a civil case with an administrative case, which eventually made him lose the property case early this year.
Wang hopes to become a lawyer when he graduates.
Moved by Wang's spirit, Zhenzhou Justice Training Schoolhas waived his tuition fees of more than 10,000 yuan ($1,298). Link
